Three-Effect Coconut Water Concentration with TVR

The ORIENTAL GOLDEN COCO installation in the Philippines uses an automatic three-effect plate evaporation system with TVR. The project record states a 4,000 L/h coconut water feed and a 3,700 L/h evaporation duty, with a concentration target from 4 to 60 Brix.

Three effects with a steam-driven recovery function

The configuration combines staged evaporation with TVR to reuse a selected secondary-vapour stream. Concentrated coconut water proceeds toward the stated aseptic-bag packaging route. The project record was published in March 2022.

The installation photograph shows the relationship between the separation vessels, plate frames and large connecting pipes. Lower product connections, ladders and a smaller process vessel are visible alongside the main assemblies. Their arrangement gives a practical reference for system access and integration.

Actual control hardware accompanies the process equipment

The project cabinet photograph shows a PLC and I/O assembly, terminals, electrical protection and organised wiring. It documents physical control hardware associated with the installation.

A new system connects its selected instruments and operating permissions to its own process sequence. Relevant records and acceptance checks follow that sequence rather than being inferred from the appearance of the cabinet.

Read the quantities without creating an extra output claim

Feed, evaporated water and concentrate are different streams. The reported volumetric rates and Brix target describe the project, but they do not by themselves establish a concentrate output in L/h. The relevant density and concentration basis are needed for a consistent mass balance.

For another liquid or production target, the heat balance, working range, pumping and cleaning conditions are recalculated. This application illustrates a supplied three-effect and TVR arrangement without assigning the same result or energy consumption to every plate system.
